Future Projects

  • CEMADEF would like to launch the Cooperative Ujamaa program in other territories of Ituri where it has its centers operating. 
  • The organization seeks to help create cooperatives in many other industries apart from agriculture. Some interests are in tailoring, baking and other activities based upon the demand of the beneficiaries. 
  • The central office is also researching how it could extend its micro-credit program to other vulnerable groups such as unemployed youth and poorly compensated teachers and nurses.
